Locally owned and operated, A Plus Mini Storage was established in 2002 with our first location at the corner of Rock Creek and 12 Avenue N.E. in Norman.  From the beginning our focus was to be the best storage facility possible.  We contracted a local security company to install a state of the art security system including alarms, digital cameras, and an automated gate system.  We realized being the best went much further than security alone.  Cleanliness and personable staff were next on our list.  We dedicated ourselves to maintaining our property, keeping everything clean and in working order.  Our staff strives to keep our properties in tip top shape at all times.  In addition to providing a secure, well lit property, we wanted to add that little extra sense of security by having Resident Managers living on property.  Not all storage businesses provide this bonus security feature, as a matter of fact, very few facilities actually provide this level of security for their tenants. 

We received confirmation that we were attaining our goals, winning the distinct honor of being Norman's Best Storage Facility in “The Norman Transcript's”  Readers Choice Awards.

Our second location was constructed in Moore, near the corner of 19th Street and Santa Fe.  Following the same reputable standards we had established with our first location, the same systems and ideas applied to this new endeavor.  The occupancy is proof that this location is operating with the same above standard reviews.

The requests at this location for Boat & RV storage prompted us to extent our capabilities.  In 2009 we built an expansion, adding large enclosed storage units which enable us to accommodate the demand.

Not long after opening our Moore location we realized the demand for more storage on the west side of Norman.  The completion of our west Main Street location marked a milestone for us.  Probably our most difficult facility to open regarding red tape and city ordinance, but our goal was accomplished.  Within the first year the facility confirmed our expectations. This location reached 100% occupancy in record time.  It also achieved a Five Star rating from tenant feedback on the internet.  The facility manager was nominated and won Second Runner Up in the “Mini Storage Messenger” nationwide Manager of the Year competition.

To offer Boat and RV, along with common storage sizes, we opened our fourth location in North Norman.  This location is ideal for large storage.

Our goal is to supply Norman with a secure location to store boats, rv’s, vehicles, trailers and for businesses that need large storage spaces.  This facility has the normal sizes as well, offering convenient storage for that area.

We continue to strive to offer the best in the business.  Our staff enjoys working with people and helping them make the right storage decisions.  We encourage all prospective tenants to visit our property prior to making their decision.  Our goals have not changed and every one of our employees adopts these goals as their own.  We encourage our staff to adopt their respective property as their own which has developed a pride in A+ service and teamwork.
